Getting a passport

I finally got my ass to the post office today to get my passport. The people ahead of me in line were applying for 2, so I had to wait through double the pain of getting a passport, not including my own experience.
There was word that I am going to Europe for work sometime in January. I haven’t really heard much about it since then, but I guess I should still assume that I’m going.
I hope I end up going somewhere cool like Germany, England, or Italy. Hell, any country over there would be cool!
